What do you see?

        When you look in the mirror, what do you see? I remember when I was in high school, my self esteem was so low, anyone could step over it. One thing I will never forget during that time, was that almost every morning when I was getting ready for school, I would look in the mirror and start crying. I felt like garbage, and  in my reflection I felt that there was no one more ugly and more worthless than me. There were times when I would cry out to God, telling him to take me because I hated myself and I hated my life. I was not happy with anything. I felt incomplete. Can you relate to what I'm talking about? But if we take a look in Ephesians 2:10, it goes against how we should be feeling.

"For we are God's masterpiece  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago".


If we are God's masterpiece, then why should we feel this way? If you take this verse and plant it in your heart and ask God to make you this masterpiece, then next time you look in the mirror you will see the person God created you to be. : ) Remember, God doesn't make garbage.
